Ground Comment
Arsenal Stadium or Highbury became Arsenal's ground in 1913, 22 years after the club turned professional as Royal Arsenal. The first club to install the giant Jumbotron video screens inside football stadia and also the first to put up a mural when development work was taking place at the North Bank end of the ground, the club even had sound effects to make it seem more lifelike. The Gunners were thinking about a move to Wembley Stadium but decided, in March 1998, that they would redevelop Highbury instead.
